Mission Opportunities


IN & AROUND MERIDIAN

Prayer Shawl Ministry – Church members gather every Tuesday at 6:00 PM at Aldersgate to participate in the making of and praying over shawls or blankets for those who may be sick or are in need of prayer.

Women’s Missionary Union (WMU) – This missions organization meets once a month to learn about and pray over missions and missionaries, both national and international.

IN MISSISSIPPI & THE U.S.

Rolling Fork Rising Teams:  
Rolling Fork Rising Project is a nonprofit organization aiming to restore homes lost in the tornado of spring 2023. FBC Meridian routinely sends teams to support this ministry.

INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS

Trinidad: 
For many years we have maintained a relationship with the Lord’s work in Trinidad. Trinidad’s population is of Indian descent, and they are an English-speaking people making it possible to communicate without translators. The majority of the population is Hindu, and volunteering in Trinidad usually involves VBS, crusades, & personal evangelism. 

DISASTER RELIEF

We are proud partners with the Mississippi Baptist Convention Disaster Relief Ministry that helps provide help, hope, and healing in Jesus' Name to those experiencing natural and man-made disasters.
