I have had the joy of pastoring at FBC Meridian for 13 years.  I previously served at FBC Picayune, MS, and FBC Richton, MS.  My wife, Gloria, and I have been married for nearly 40 years and enjoy 3 children and 7 grandchildren who all live in Meridian.  You may see me around town on a red motor scooter, and I make an annual pilgrimage to the mountains.  I've climbed in places as diverse as the French Alps, the Southern Alps in New Zealand, and the Rockies of the U.S.

David Bishop, Associate Pastor in Music 
I have been Associate Pastor in Music here at FBC since October 1996.  Prior to that, I served churches in Canton, MS, Radcliff, KY, and Georgetown, KY.  My lovely wife, Valerie, teaches at Meridian Community College, and we have one son, Evan, who is a 9th grader.  In my spare time, I enjoy golf and reading!

Abby Dennis, Minister of Students and Children 
I have had the privelege of working with preschoolers and children here at FBC for the past 3 years.  I have lived in Meridian all my life and am happy that most of my family lives here also.  When I’m not working, I enjoy singing, painting, shopping, and spending time with my family and friends.  I am truly blessed to be able to share my passion for the Lord Jesus Christ with the wonderful children here at FBC.  There is no greater reward than being a part of a child’s life as they grow spiritually and develop a personal relationship with Christ.  I would love to invite you and your children to come be a part of our wonderful ministry at FBC.
